The Overseas Initiative needed a compelling way to communicate the impact of their work in Cuba. While updates and information can explain the mission, they don’t always help audiences understand the personal transformation that happens when individuals receive the opportunity to build something sustainable.
Solution :
The project focused on telling Livàn's story through a short narrative film. By highlighting his journey of starting a farm with the support he received, the story provides a personal perspective on the mission of The Overseas Initiative and the role faith-driven support plays in creating opportunity.
Challenge :
The challenge was capturing a deeply personal story while also representing the broader mission of the organization. The film needed to balance authenticity, cultural context, and the realities of life in Cuba while remaining concise and accessible for digital audiences.
